關於波寶島

寧靜的蔚藍大海中，有一座名為波寶島的神秘島嶼。

島上的波寶們，都有副圓滾滾的身材。隨著成長過程，他們在外型上會逐漸出現不同的差異，到目前為止，我們已歸類出四種類別，分別為銳利虎牙、氣勢過人的托寶，迷人嘴唇、受人注目的酷寶，彎彎鴨嘴、理智清晰的福寶，以及身材嬌小、低調隨和的拉寶。

可愛圓潤的外表下，波寶們其實就和我們一樣，面對生活，他們有享受也有折磨；面對情緒，他們有快樂也有悲傷；面對工作，他們有理想也有倦怠；面對夢想，他們有追求也有放下。

人們是由不同的情感交織而成，波寶們也是。或許也可以說，人類是什麼，波寶就是什麼。就讓我們一起探索波寶島的每個角落，觀察波寶們的日常百態吧！

In the silent and deep blue sea, there is a mysterious island called POPOLAND.

All of the islanders, POPO, have the chubby body shape. During the progress of growing up, their bodies change into different specific types. So far, we have discovered 4 types of POPO: fiery TOPO with sharp canine teeth, cool KUPO with charming lips, smarty FUPO with bendy beak, and low-key RAPO with gentle.

Under their chubby and round shape, POPO live their lives just like us. They are enjoyable and frustrated in their life; they feel happy and sad; they are ambitious and burnout in their work, and they chase or give up their dreams.

Human beings are made of different emotion and so are POPO. In other words, POPO and human beings are so similar. Let's go on an adventure at every corner of POPOLAND, and explore the ordinary life of POPO!

2018年11月14日，POPOLAND波寶島文創團隊開始對外發布第一張插畫。

我們的初衷，是想透過波寶們繪製出各式各樣的人物角色、創作出多元豐富的主題插畫。無論是生活、工作、心情、穿搭、節慶、空間或者天馬行空，看似沒有關聯的主題，我們會慢慢的從不同角度、心境及立場，訴說一篇關於波寶島的故事。

我們希望POPOLAND的插畫，能夠傳達給看到的人某些情緒、某些訊息、某些共鳴、甚至是某些啟發。沒有文字的侷限、消除語言的隔閡、打破距離的限制，我們樂於見到不同的人，看到我們的插畫，會有什麼樣不同的感受。

那種只有人與圖之間，單純獨特的情感交流，是值得我們竭盡所能、努力追求的長遠目標。也期許我們在努力創作的過程，能為台灣的插畫界盡上一份綿薄之力。

On November 14 of 2018, cultural and creative team of POPOLAND released the first illustration.

Our original intention is to illustrate variety of characters and to create multifaceted themes through POPO, including life, work, mood, dressing, festival, interior and imagination. Gradually, we are going to tell a story about POPOLAND in various aspects.

We hope that the illustrations of POPOLAND can convey certain emotions, certain messages, some resonances, and even some inspiration to people. Without the limitations of words, language barriers and distance, we are happy to know how people feel when they see our illustrations.

Enjoying the emotional communication between people and illustrations, and constantly creating interesting works are long-term goals we are willing to do our best. And we hope that our works will be a little contribution to Taiwan's illustration industry.
